Renowned Crypto Provider MyEtherWallet Strike by Data Breach amid Hola VPN Hack

“Renowned crypto service “MyEtherWallet” affected by strange data breach recently after a free VPN service was hacked for five hours.”
MyEtherWallet, which is famous for its outstanding crypto managing services and exchange crypto tokens from multiple crypto wallets, warned it’s users who use their services via Hola VPN that about 50 million users, might have been under attack by anonymous hackers to steal cryptocurrencies.
However, those “MyEtherWallet” users who didn’t use Hola VPN to access their crypto-wallet were utterly safe by the data breach.
MyEtherWallet confirmed that earlier that the user’s data were comprised is due to Hola VPN was attacked by malicious hackers for the interval of four to five hours approximately. It means the data was not comprised due to any technical issue from the “MyEtherWallet” side, but all blame goes to free VPN service “Hola.”
Furthermore, to save its users, MyEtherWallet officials suggesting users who used Hola VPN to access their crypto wallet in last 24 hours to switch their crypto token into new accounts.
This new scenario is a real-time example and a great lesson for those users who use free VPN services for managing things like personal and financial activities online rather than using reliable best VPN services. Moreover, this is not the only incident, which happens in recent times, but these kinds of data breaching attacks now become a habit of so-called free VPN providers.
